When is the 4.51 version of the OS coming out? I did get a letter from mips stating that I would receive it in september. Does anyone know if it is delayed? I passed up on 4.50 and decided to wait for 4.51. If it is delayed I would like to go ahead and get 4.50 and upgrade to 4.51 later. thomas mookken ----------------------------------------------------------------------- thomas mookken, mookken@cblph.att.com, mookken@cs.utexas.edu

After installing 4.50 I spent the next two weeks getting to know the MIPS customer support people REAL well. Eventually, we got workarounds for the most serious problems, but it's been pretty ugly. I should point out that overall, I've been impressed with Mips customer support. The fact that I did get workarounds in a reasonably timely manner speaks for their ability to track down and resolve non-trivial problems. It's not their fault the release wasn't as solid as it should have been. -- Tony Andrews uunet!dunike!onecom!raid5!tony Array Technology Corp. 4775 Walnut St., Suite B Boulder, Colorado 80301 USA
