[comp.sys.mips] nslookup problem, OS bug?

Hi,

I have a problem with running nslookup on an M/1000 running RISC/os 4.51
and I am not sure whether it's a bug in the OS or there is an error in
setting up named.

The problem that I am having is that everytime I startup the interactive
mode of nslookup, I have to physically type in "set domain=...." before
doing any lookup. If this step was not performed first, the system will
not be able to find any address, not even itself!

I checked /etc/resolv.conf and it was correclty set. I typed "set all"
in nslookup once I got into the interactive mode and the domain showed
was exactly the same as the one that I have to type in. Any change in
/etc/resolv.conf does reflected in "set all" so it's reading in the
data from resolv.conf correctly. Is this a bug in the OS or there's
something that I miss? Any help are welcome.

Andy
