Sorry if this has come up for discussion before, but unfortunately I didn't realize I'd ever need this! Has anyone successfully built AT&T C++ on RISC/os (4.51) ( the C++ I have is 1.2). I managed the bootstrap build with not a single error, but building the translator is proving a real headache. I get syntax errors (and I don't know C++), plus, the tape had to be read on a VAX and ftp'd across and half of the files have nulls in them which the compiler complains about! Alternatively, does anyone know where we can get GNUg++, as one of my colleagues says he recalls seeing that there was actually a binary (mips RISC/os) somewhere available via anonymous ftp. Any help would be appreciated, as the computer science department wants to start classes later this week!
