[comp.sys.mips] Third-party hardware maintenance

sam@liege.ICS.UCI.EDU (Sam Horrocks) (04/12/91)

Are there third-party hardware maintainers for MIPS workstations? I
have two R3000's that I'd like to put under maintenance. If there are
such companies, could someone send me a list?

It's already third-party, effectively. Mips has contracted with Prime
to provide maintenance on their machines.

I recently had a query from Prime computers on whether we would
consider having them take over our mips maintenance. It seems that
Prime and Mips have entered into some kind of reseller agreement.
That may only be in Canada, but you could check into it.
