Dear Ppl: I have been working on porting the native ethertalk support in Cap6.0 to the mips. I have the driver(s) compiled and installed into the makefile heiarchy, but have hit a brick wall. It seems that the ether_register() call that is available on the Sun, is not on the mips. I have asked mips if they plan on implementing it but have not received a reply. Does anyone out there have source and the time/gumption to attempt to implement this?? Please respond via e-mail if you are interested or have any ideas to work around this. It sure would be nice to implement.
