The following message appeared periodically in the console log file: unix: if_enp0 died and restarted Does anybody know what's the implication of this? Sometimes, the machine will hang up for an extended period of time (2 hours) before resuming communications (does not accept ftp, telnet, rlogin; does not respond to ping from another machine). I couldn't seem to find anything for if_enp0 in the manuals. I am pretty sure that it's not the Ethernet controller itself (I stuck another one in with the same result). The machine is an M/1000 running RISC/os 4.51.
