[comp.sys.mips] sizes for C types in R4000 64-bit mode

Just curious, but what are the size in bits for the following C types:

short
int
long

in both 32-bit and 64-bit modes for the r4000?
(I'm making the assumption that there is a "mode" for 64-bit operation)
