My news machine and my main working machine are not the same thing. In addition the mail system on the news machine is not as good as the set-up I've got on my local machine; therefore I'd prefer it if mail to me about the net went to my local host (uk.ac.lon.rfhsm.ux) rather than my news host (uk.ac.sx). Now, I know that this is a matter of setting the Reply-To line; I know that your postin header is settable via an environment variable; all this is in TFM. What I want to know is how to get just one line changed. Do you just have the variable set to "Reply-To: ..." ? If not, then it'd be OK to put the whole header in a variable (sorry, the name of the var. escapes me), but I can't work out how to get csh to accept a multi-line variable. Help??? Mail me (at and@uk.ac.lon.rfhsm.ux, NOT and@uk.ac.sx!!!) and if interest is there I'll summarise. &. -- &ndy Holyer JANET: and@uk.ac.lon.rfhsm.ux Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, eunet: mcvax!ukc!r-free!and Hampstead, London England #include <disclaimer.h> "Try anything once - except Incest and folk dancing" - George Bernard Shaw
