[news.newusers.questions] To post or not to post

I have a question about net "rules". I know it is not well thought of
to print ads for products, especially if you work for the company that
is selling the product. There is a product that people have asked my
opinion about in the past and I gave it willingly as a satisfied
customer of the company. Recently, the situation has changed and I am
now going to be invlolved with the company, working on said product.

Now the question, would it be considered "bad" if I were to continue to
stand behind the product publicly? If I have some information that I
would have posted in the past as I feel it is in the interest of the
other people on the net but might also be considered "pushing" the
product. This information is easily available [call the company and
they will tell you] but I already have done this and I feel others
would also be interested. [Based on e-mail response from previous
postings asking questions about the product]

For Example:

An upcoming release of the product will be hard to get unless
people order now and I feel I should tell people they should buy
it now so they can get a copy. But I now work for the company and
I am biased. Before I worked for them I would have had no problem
      posting the information.

Well, what is the "net" rules of my posting this information?
