For all who mailed and posted responces to my question, hearty thanks!
When I made my origional rookie mistake, I didn't realize that even though
I had read all the articles I could still "g" to the news group and be in it.
The soultion that got the article cancelled was this;
"g" to newsgroup
enter article # - even though it was read, "rn" took me to it
"C"ed the article - cancellation took
This has been my first occasion to take a problem to this news.group and with
the many usefull sugestions I received, it won't be the last. I hope it will
also prevent someone else from having the same problem.
I'm going to abandon this thread now, see you on the net . . . .
