Several recent postings asked questions whose answers can be found in
the postings made to news.announce.newusers.
These postings are essential reading for anyone who wants to be a
good net.citizen. I highly recommend subscribing to that newsgroup if
you don't know that you have read everything in it. These postings,
while available at all times on some systems, are made once a month
and so should be available soon even if there are, right now, no
messages in the newsgroup.
If your system doesn't keep them around all the time, you might want
to save a copy of them for future reference: you never know what
might catch your interest later. They do change though.
