In the referenced case, the machine being posted from is at Lewis & Clark College. *Someone* there knows about Unix and News, or the node wouldn't be running! Whoever that is: that's the person to ask. The best book is O'Reilly & Associates' USING UUCP AND USENET, available from your college bookstore or send email to uunet!ora!nuts for information. The net's expensive.
