I run expire from cron at night. It never seemed to function the same twice so I added a -v. I got this last night: inews: No valid newsgroups found, moved to junk [a bunch of these deleted] inews: No valid newsgroups found, moved to junk inews: core: Inbound news is garbled inews: rnews failed, status 256. Batch saved in /usr/spool/news/core I don't understand what happened or how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm afraid I can't help you: I have no idea what software you run
or what version. Nor what kind of OS you use or anything else
that might help with tracking down the problem.
Why not write a new posting asking that question, with as much
relevant information as you can find, and post that in the
newsgroup news.software.b? That is the newsgroup where most
people who can help you are to be found.
