I hope this is being inserted into the proper group(s), my appologies if not. I have a friend who is faced with the following problem. He aquires his mail/news via a modem link between his PC and an unnamed host machine. Once a day he has a daemon that wakes up and snarfs all pending mail (including usenet news) and brings it all across as one large "digest". He is looking for a de-digester or reguritator or whatever, perhaps even a news reader/poster system. His requirements follow: 1. It should run on an IBM PC compatible with an 8088 processor and 640K of memory. 2. It should consist of either object code or Turbo Pascal source files. 3. Customizing it should involve altering data files, not the code itself. 4. It should be public domain, shareware, or very inexpensive. Please send replys, requests for more info and suggestions to: pat@ramona.Cary.NC.US (Pat Berry) Thanks, dean...k... -- dean...k... || || Slow ahead! .signature under construction dkarres@hubcap.clemson.edu || ||
