I've already tried using the VMS 4.1 DRDRIVER with VMS 4.2 and the gods in the heavens were not pleased. Not being terribly knowledgable about drivers, my guess was there were timing troubles. The Eagles received MANY!!! time-out errors. In addition, the drives would mysteriously think the wrong volume was mounted and start mount verification (the time-out problems, I believe, also caused some mount verifs). I have retreated to VMS 4.1 and would highly suggest all Eagle users to wait for a real SI patch before upgrading to VMS 4.2. From The Great Zar a.k.a. Dan Zirin p.s.
