[gnu.misc.discuss] Need groff binaries

brown@vidiot.UUCP (Vidiot) (11/16/90)

I am in current need of obtaining the groff binaries for the ISC 2.0.2 version
of Unix, for my Compaq 386/20e. I had been fighting getting the GNU C++
code to compile. I had two-weeks of nothing but headaches, so I just plain
gave up. There is supposid support for the 386 Unix in g++, but I have never
found a perfect set of instructions that make the compile work.

So, if someone has groff 0.6 working on the 386 Unix platform, I would appre-
ciate a copy. I can anonuucp, but not ftp. I can take 5-1/4" DOS or Unix
tar/cpio disks, even 3.5" disks as well. Or I can use 1/4" tape formats of
QIC-8, QIC-24 or QIC-150.

If you are willing to provide the time to transfer all of the required
binaries and support files, including docs, onto some form of media, please
send me e-mail. I will provide media and shipping.

What I am trying to do is provide support for groff in my ST:TNG Program
Guide. I have help for this from another netter, but I don't have the
groff program to test it here.

Thanks in advance.
