Once again I have been asked to locate candidates for a short contract assignment. Someone with solid assembler level experience on the i860 is needed for 30-60 days, approximately, in Houston. I do not know if any of the work may be done remotely. I'm posting this as a favor, I'm not an agent of any of the parties and I do not have a lot of time to spend on the telephone about this. Please respond by e-mail, I will pass the complete folder of replies to the person who asked me to post this and then wash my hands of the thing. Voice calls will be ignored completely unless I am in an unusually good mood at that instant. Please note that having the required experience means that you already know not only the instruction set but also the detail performance characteristics -- ie, you understand the instruction scheduling problem. Experience in optimizing compiler technology is a big plus. -- Steve Nuchia South Coast Computing Services (713) 964-2462 "Innocence is a splendid thing, only it has the misfortune not to keep very well and to be easily misled." --- Immanuel Kant, Groundwork of the Metaphysic of Morals
