Yet another unanswered oldie!! >Date: Fri, 14 Jul 89 11:51:00 CST >From: Dave Caplinger <UNOCC07%UNOMA1.BITNET%VM1.NoDak.EDU@murtoa.cs.mu.oz> >Subject: NEWS v5.9 and MAIL interface >Will 5.9 additionally include the ability to FILE newsitems in your MAIL >folders? This would be /very/ handy... No, 'cause it's not straightforward using the callable mail interface: the routine would have to MAIL the item to the reader, then open up the newmail folder and look for a subject line and sender which matches the arrived posting of the newsitem, then FILE it into a mail folder, all of which will generate a reasonable amount of heartache to get it working reliably. Is someone else willing to generate this code?? (asked he hopefully) Geoff
