[news.software.anu-news] How do I get a kit...

quodling@bunyip.dec.com (Peter Quodling) (01/10/90)

I have tried Mail direct to Geoff Huston, I have tried getting the Digital
Office just down the road from him to try, but no joy. I am trying to source a
current Anu-news kit. I don't have access to FTP, or PSIcopy, and don't have
the budget to buy a DECUS kit or whatever. Is there anyone that runs a archive
mail server that has ANU-news running on it, or a kit local to New England, or
if you listening Geoff, send me mail, or drop a tape off with Pat Keogh or
someone in Canberra.

I hope to be able to hack anu-news into becoming a workable replacement for the
modified vnews that is being used within DEC at the moment.

Geoff's on leave. He'll be back next week I believe, but its likely to
take a while before news rises high enough up his list of things to
catch up on...
