I'm new to this list, so bear with me... Some questions: 1) Would it be possible to distribute news via Bitnet? Is ANU-News all I need, if it is possible? 2) Thinking of transferring news from the VAX to a PC over a terminal line, what do I need for the VAX (VMS 5.0)? UUCP for the PC exists already. 3) If the above things work, where do I get ANU-NEWS and other Software needed? Please send email, if possible. The only thing is to make sure that you can handle lines greater than 132 characters as you get the ocational news item with long lines. To take care of this I have my files sent VMSDUMP format. (I have VAXen on both ends) After I get my files I process them in the same way you would process news files sent via mail -- =============================================================================== Gehri Grimaud gehri@cc.usu.edu Utah State University gehri@usu.bitnet Office of Computer Services tel.
