We have a twelve-node VAXcluster running Multinet TCP/IP that I (and a bunch of
my users) would like to install Anu-News on. We have a Sun workstation on base
that is already acting as a News server. Management won't approve the project
unless we give them some idea of the "costs" of installing the product.

Obviously, the software itself won't cost anything, but I would like to hear
some comments on the following:

a) How much disk space does the software and the news files take up (on
average) ? Can we access the news on a remote server instead of
using up local disk space ?

b) Once the software is installed and running, how much maintenance is
needed to keep it running ? Will a systems person have to diddle
with it every few days ?

c) What pitfalls are there ?

Thanks in advance,
