[news.software.anu-news] ADD BATCH Crashes ;

bob@lion.inmos.co.uk (Bob Green) (02/12/90)

I am running News 5.9 and I'm having regular crashes. To add nntp batches
I use the command

$ ADD BATCH /EXECUTE=DELETE /CREGRP NNTP_*.BATCH

This often causes a crash, an example of which follows. It always seems to
be when News tries to send mail to a moderator. If however I use the command

$ ADD BATCH NNTP_*.BATCH

without the /EXECUTE=DELETE/CREGRP then it works fine. However I *NEED*
the two mentioned options. Can anyone tell me why this is ?

Thanks

Bob.

Sample crash follows:

Absolutely no clue! Internally there is no connection between mail to a
moderator address and these qualifiers to the command.
