Seems like it's the assembly language fanatic that's forever twiddling and tweaking the program instead of just getting the job done in the quickest language possible and worrying about efficiency later. You know the type... still deciding what tie to wear when the boat leaves. In practical terms... the problem is the fanatic: not what they're fanatic about.
