I am looking for software for a Mac which includes the complete text of the
Bible (no, not the Mac Bible, the real Christian one!).
I thought there were a few companies which offered this sort of thing but
only find one in the back of MacWorld: Bible Research Systems in Austin,
Texas. If anyone has experience with what they offer ("THE WORD processor",
and "Verse Search") I would appreciate hearing their experiences.
I already have the Mac, but if you know of a great program for Bible
study/referencing etc on another computer, please let me know.

Just over a year and a half ago I was talking with the developers of GodSpeed (a verse search and cross ref utility) and they said at that time that they were working on a Mac version. I do not know if the Mac version was ever completed though. Their PC version is quite good, though simple and rather expensive. If you want their address please contact me and I'll try to look it up. Just think of the hassle it would save on all those computer-based discussions on "what the bible actually says".
