Does anyone out there know of a utility ( on the mac or Unix ) which can convert some Macintosh image format ( PICT, TIFF, GIF, etc ) to a bit stream raster. Currently, the best way we can do this is by using gif2ras on a sun and then a BRL-CAD utility sun-pix to convert that into straight bit stream. All this transfering of files and processing takes way too much time. Anybody got a better way? Thanks much in advance! =Steve= robiner@ganelon

Yea, we could really use a utility like that around here as well.

let us know!
