I've come up with a couple of other small problems with tcsh 5.19 * the filename correction is done at the wrong time. I use variables like h, s, g to hold useful directory names. When I do stuff like "mkdir $s/a" tcsh will complain about $s being unreadable (the mkdir will work, however) Suggested solution: change the filename analysis to happen after the variable name expansion. * the filename correction does not recognize wildcards "?*[]" as such, but will offer corrections to (some?) filenames containing them Suggested solution: make the wildcards patterns be a special case, the only time correction should be suggested is when no match is found. -- /* * * Otto J.
