[] I detect a general tone regarding the issue of opinions and expertise of those defending Star Wars and High Frontier. It seems that many (not most or all) present the tone that "If your not familiar or educated in this subject (Arms race), then you cannot possibly have a valid opinion." This is a social and political issue with some technological overtones. Since, we have not really fought a nuclear war, we cannot really have experts. In fact, military experts brought us castles, trench warfare, and othe static forms of defense. Let us not lock out the thinking of others. I have otherwise enjoyed reading this discussion. --eugene miya
