Speaking of tcsh 5.20, has anyone else out there had trouble getting the actual Meta keys to work on Sun 3's & 4's, using the new (5.20.01) version? The scape-prefix-as-meta bindings still work, and "bind" or "bindkey" shows both those and the Meta-combinations to be bound, but they just don't seem to work anymore. They worked for me in 5.19.

Try 'stty pass8'. Tcsh used to do that automatically in 5.19, but it was decided that it was bad to play with the tty modes, and let the user choose. Martin.
