[alt.sources.d] Tass visual threaded newsreader

tchrist@convex.COM (Tom Christiansen) (02/15/91)

From the keyboard of skrenta@blekko.commodore.com (Rich Skrenta):
:I wrote Tass because I "learned" the Usenet on Notes and couldn't stand rn.
:No rn flames here, but if you've wished you could view the news a different
:way, try Tass.

Could you explain what tass offers than trn does not, besides the visual
newsgroup selection menu?

Visual newsgroup selection window: of course; paper/on-line 85 page
manual: naturally. Newsgroup: gnu.emacs.gnus) and SuperCite ["Tom>"
citations above] for what earthly gain?
