.....Bit bucket line. We've used the older (~6 months ago) TCL transceivers extensively without any problems, either with their design, or with our installation, except for an installer who didn't quite get the hole clean before he screwed in the tap. The installation process is pretty simple. The only caveat is that after you cut out the jacket, braids, and foil, you have to be sure that all little strands of wire are gone from the hole. In one instance such a strand shorted the tap to the shield, causing massive quantities of collisions. After we get some experience with the new transceivers, I'll let you know how they work. -- from the DMZ of Skip Addison The Office of Telecommunications and Networking Georgia Tech, Atlanta GA 30332 CSNet: Skip @ GATech ARPA: Skip.GATech @ CSNet-Relay uucp: ...!{akgua,allegra,rlgvax,sb1,unmvax,ut-ngp,ut-sally}!gatech!skip
