Hi,

I think it's fascinating that Enya wrote a song in latin.
Has Kate ever written anything in a non-english language?
What language is Elizabeth Frazier (Cocteau Twins) singing
in on "Treasure" and "Moon & Melodies" (with Harold Budd).

Re: TD... I've got over a dozen Tangerine Dream records
in addition to about 250 others in the same vein.
My personal favorites are Green Desert, Hyperborea
and Underwater Sunlight. Their more recent stuff
remains pretty mediocre, however, I think.

Lets see how many love-hounds out there remember Jade Warrior?
Sensations Fix? The United States of America? Gryphon? The
Ultimate Spinach? Faust? Can? Amon Duul 2? Franco Battiato?
Cloud Dance? Heldon/Richard Pinhas? Pascal Comelade? Steve
Hillage? Bill Nelson?

Any one want to trade record/cd collection lists? I've got
about 50 rarities on my list that I'm still loking for and many rare/
out of print items in my collection. I figure anyone who loves Kate
must be into some other pretty obscure/bizarre stuff as well.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't believe that she is singing
in any language known to man. On the Treasure album (at least), she recorded
herself in a room without music and then the rest of the band put music to her
vocals (lyrics would be a bad term). THAT'S bizarre.

I remember Gryphon. Do you remember Kraftwork? (I mean the old stuff
like Autobahn, in addition to the newer things like Electric Cafe.) I
agree that no TD past Underwater Sunlight (approximately) is much good.
I really like Exit, Force Majeure, Tangram, and Poland, but that's just
me. I haven't heard Green Desert, but some of their older stuff (Alpha
Centauri, Atem) is pretty uninteresting (unmusical).
