All of the talks about the different ethernet spec revisions has me
scared. At about the end of May, the Ridge 32 we have ordered should
arrive. We have ordered the Ethernet board for it. We want to order
some kind of Ethernet board for our Vax 750 to talk to the Ridge. I
have been told that the board on the Ridge is an Ungermann-Bass DR11/W
to Ethernet converter. Does anybody out there have any experience with
this beast and does anybody know about any incompatibilities between this
board and any of the boards currently being made for the VAX?
