All this talk of problems getting the AMD/Mostek Lance and the
Intel 82586 just makes me glad we use Seeq 8003's (a chip that
has worked for a looonnnnggg time...).

Of course the Seeq chip is just an "Ethernet UART" (a UERT??),
but a sword is better than an M-16 that's jammed... ;-}
