We have a 4.2 unix machine and a 4.1 unix machine on the same ethernet.
Big packets from 4.2 to 4.1 crash the 4.1 after a flurry of tcp checksum
errors. We have turned off trailers, and the 4.2 machine can talk through
the 4.1 machine as a gateway out to the world. The problem must
be some sort of tcp incompatibility on large packets. Any suggestions?
