[rec.music.gaffa] Replacing some rare CD's

efsl@tahoma.UUCP (Michael D. Riston) (01/18/90)

Greetings one and all, as I make an exceedingly rare post.
Excuse length and x-posts to r.m.b and r.m.gaffa, but I want
to reach a LOT of music-lovers & collectors.

While on Xmas vacation last year, my home was burglarized. The
main focus of the burglary was my CD collection -- over 150 stolen.
Many of these were imports and other such difficult-to-replace
items. What I need is names, sources, or other help in replacing
them, as I have very little chance at recovering all of them (a
minor miracle did occur, and I recovered 15 of them!). A lot
of them are replacable with domestic copies, and some are still
available as imports (no domestic pressing, y'know). But....
SOME are tough to get, for various reasons. And so, I ask
the net rec.music world, help! I wanna replace these. If you
can get a copy of any of the following, have an extra, etc...
     then, e-mail a reply to :

     Don at efsl@tahoma (..!tahoma!efsl).

I am NOT Michael, as noted in some headers; it's a shared account,
but I can receive mail at it.
