You are correct.  It only got to number 2 (although it did get to #1 in some
chain stores that have their own charts).

By the way, Tanita Tikaram's "The Sweet Keeper" was at number 2 last week (in
the independent charts, at least).  It has dropped this week.

In the *singles* charts, Sinead O'Connor's _Nothing_Compares_2_U_ is at #1
for the third week.  It looks like British kids are finally acquiring a bit
of taste.

P.S. _Nothing_Ever_Happens_ by a Scottish band called Del Amitri is doing
well too.  This song is brilliant.
