Peter Manchester writes: >"The Sensual World" is way more than a cult success in this country. (And it >didn't make #1 in England, either, did it?) You are correct. It only got to number 2 (although it did get to #1 in some chain stores that have their own charts). By the way, Tanita Tikaram's "The Sweet Keeper" was at number 2 last week (in the independent charts, at least). It has dropped this week. In the *singles* charts, Sinead O'Connor's _Nothing_Compares_2_U_ is at #1 for the third week. It looks like British kids are finally acquiring a bit of taste. Steve. P.S. _Nothing_Ever_Happens_ by a Scottish band called Del Amitri is doing well too. This song is brilliant. \ / // \ // ---------------------------- \ / /\ // / \ // / | Steve Wallis | \ / / /// / / \ // / / | | \ \/ //\\/ / \ / \/ / | stevew@uk.ac.man.cs.r5 | \ /\ // \\/ \/ \/ ---------------------------- \/ \/
