[rec.music.gaffa] Earlier song about Molly Bloom?

toc@TCGOULD.TN.CORNELL.EDU (Timothy F. O'Connor) (02/09/90)

I had foolishly assumed (for no good reason) that Kate was the
first person to write a song about dear Molly Bloom. Then it hit
	me:

		"Good Golly, Miss Molly!
		 She sure like to ball!!"

Can there be any doubt that this is an ancient precursor to TSW?

In a (slightly) more serious vein, check out ReJoyce on the
Jefferson Airplane's After Bathing At Baxter's (my favorite JA).
