in chris'n'vickie's posting of the Celtic-band play list, there was an error in the description of Macalla. Macalla is an Irish band made up of four men and one woman, not a large group of women as posted. I believe that they are all brothers and sisters; the woman in the band is Enya's sister Maire, and Enya appeared on their first two or three albums. their music has gone from entirely traditional to a more pop/rock sound, but the music is GREAT and they still do a number of songs sung in traditional Irish.

I have no idea whether or not there is a band called Macalla or not, but the group you've described above is Clannad, which had an album in `85 (I think) titled "Macalla."
