All right.  What is the problem here?
I agree with just about everything Lazlo said...  I have *NEVER* been
to a concert of *any* type at which the national anthem is played.
Not classical, not rock, not anything.  I have never even wondered about it.
I do wonder why this is a tradition at the GSAC.  

I do not think Sinead was out of line, and I certainly don't agree with 
DJs and their personal vendetta.  But then again, I get sickened when I
go to an Illini football game and the cheerleaders run around with red
white and blues and everybody is so bloody American.  People tend to over
do it, but what can you say about the most ethnocentric country in the
world?

Oh, I just remembered a concert at  which the star spangled banner was 
played.  It was a big one, too.   

Woodstock.
