[rec.music.gaffa] covers of Beatle songs

I am putting together an on-line list of cover versions of songs by
The Beatles. A bit daft, you might say (well, Steve C. might say! :-))?
Perhaps. Let me clarify a bit...

I'm basically interested in unusual or obscure covers. (I already
have many of the more obvious/well-known covers, but send 'em along
anyway in case I missed one. Besides, I like getting e-mail! :-))
For example, sources say there are something like 5000 different
versions of "Yesterday" floating around out there. While I'm not so
much interested in a version by, say, Anthony Newley, I would be
interested in a version by, say, Skinny Puppy.

I'm primarily interested in recorded versions, but I'll also take live
versions by well-known artists (for example, Bob Dylan has recently
performed "Nowhere Man" in concert).

For any that you come up with, PLEASE EMAIL, DO NOT POST (I don't read
all of the above boards). Again, PLEASE EMAIL any responses. For
each song, please include the following info:

Song Title Artist Album(single/live) Year(if known)

An initial list (once the initial barrage of responses dies down) will
be posted to rec.music.beatles. Further copies of the list will be
available upon request.

Thanx in advance!

You already probably already know this but:
Get Back Laibach	Let It Be	1988
Two of Us	"
Dig a Pony	"
I Me Mine	"
Across...	"
Dig it "
I've Got...	"
The Long...	"
One After 909	"
For You Blue	"
Maggie Mae	"

This is, in my opinion, a truly stupendous album. They covered every song
off of Let It Be except for Let It Be. Especial classics is their "Balkanized"
(as they put it) version of Get Back and their 6-minute-plus version of
For You Blue done mostly on organ pipes.

PS - The album is available in America on Mute/Enigma records.

**#!##*#!# "r" key!
Just when I get all careless, thinking "r" will send it only to the sender,
something like that happens! Sorry for the wasted bandwidth everybody.
(But then, I'm just wasting more right now, so I'll shut up.)
