Really-From: Julian.West@mac.dartmouth.edu Listening to _Heads_We're_Dancing_ several times a day does funny things to my minds, so maybe I just imagined this, but didn't someone yesterday link the words "Suspended in Gaffa" to the writings of Gurdjieff in an offhand and somewhat suspicious manner? Fifteen minutes in the Gurdjieff section of the Dartmouth Library failed to turn up anything, but I didn't sit there and read _Beelzebub_ cover to cover. I'd be very surprised if there were anything there, simply because you would think that anyone would know this after seven years. Still, I'd appreciate a clarification from whomever dropped that particular name. Julian

I think you're thinking of my reference last week about my long-ago relating the title "Suspended in Gaffa" (not the lyrics) with Aldous Huxley's book "Eyeless in Gaza". Really-From: graham@ug.cs.dal.ca (Michael Graham) That has to my all time favorite song - but I don't have the lyrics - being the poor student that I am I bought the Dreaming (LP) for $5 and it came with a see through sleeve - am I mising something? - other than the lyrics Suspended...just gives me chills everytime I listen to it - the way the music swells just before the chorus...wow...and then that voice!!!! I'm listening to it right now - just incredible! here it comes the chorus again!! mike ps - I don't know if this msg is going anywhere - could someone reassure me?
