[rec.music.gaffa] Tour of Larry, PART II

henrik@EDDIE.MIT.EDU (Larry DeLuca) (01/05/90)

Larry sez:

The second stop in the Tour of Larry is T. T. The Bear's Place at
10 Brookline St., Cambridge, MA (right in Central Square) on January
16, 1990 (Tues.) at 11:15 PM (we're the last band). See me and get
$1 off Tix (or see /joe and get $1 off tix).

/joe sez:

Be sure to come early for good seats (definitely a must for THIS show). Drink
LOTS of beer [Larry: That's the yellow stuff in the glasses.] (that's how THEY
make money), and remember to bring the $1 off tickets with Lar's name on
them (that's how WE make money!!). [Joe: just to make sure, the yellow stuff
you want to drink costs money and comes in the clear glasses and not the
porcelain fountains. (Boy, I'm pa(ren)thetic(al) tonight.)] See y'all there!

OKAY, ONCE AGAIN.
THIS IS YOUR BRAIN.
THIS IS YOUR BRAIN AT T T THE BEAR'S PLACE on JANUARY 16.
ANY QUESTIONS?

Way out there,

Good God, that's five months from now! Does anyone really plan that much in
advance?

Anyway it sounds like it might be interesting. Should I buy tickets this far
ahead of time (given that I don't have any clue whether or not I'll be around
on that day) or can I wait? And how do I get in touch with one of the above
people, and what's the cost?

Expiring mind needs to know.

About that tour of Larry...

Umm, that's not five months from now.

That's seven months ago.

Somebody's mail server is barfing in a bad way...

Yea, looks like either interlan.interlan.com or vax.ftp.com. I sent a note to
the postmasters of both places.

Sorry for the noise, but consider my confusion :-).

Sorry about that - someone from FTP found 1Mb+ of old mail wedged in a UUCP
send queue on a machine at Interlan, and applied his plumber's helper. He
wasn't enough of an asshole, though, and didn't read/censor it.

Actually, it looks like someone's mail queue barfed - it's not five months
from now. It was seven months ago.

There will be new performances - we'll keep everyone posted.

In the meantime, ignore the "Tour of Larry, PART II" and
"Concept Shock Debug" messages...
