[rec.music.gaffa] Peter Gabriel

kaufman@delta.eecs.nwu.edu (Michael L. Kaufman) (10/06/90)

I just purchased an interestin Peter Gabriel CD. It's called "Live at the
Roxy 1977". It says it was recorded April 9, 1977. The company is called
Golden Stars. Does anyone know how rare this is? The sound on it is great,
and it has my favorite Gabriel song (Here comes the Flood) twice. Once as a
solo, and once with Robert Fripp.

This same concert (Roxy, Apr 9,1977) is on the bootleg CD called
_Slowburn_ put out on Great Dane Records. I haven't heard the two or
seen them together so I don't know if they are equivalent.

Wot Peter Gabriel bootleg stuff do you have? If I mailed you a tape, could
you copy it for me? (I have nothing...)

Incidentally, does anyone know wot "Spot the Pigeon" is? It's some sort of
Genesis 12" I think. I've seen it in Goldmine several times, but I hesitate
to buy it lest it be some Phil Collins Invisible Touch kinda thing.
