[net.lan] DMF 32 sync port: will it run >19.2K?

The manual for the DMF 32 lists speed greater than 19.2K baud for the 
syncronous interface, but says not to use them.  Will the DMF 32
work at higher speeds?  If not, is it: not implemented, not reliable,
or cable problems?
