The next (?) message is the start of me posting excerpts from the original articles from the Garden. Each message will have a subject something like this: THE GARDEN - GARDEN1.TXT - SECTION 1 (OF 5) This is to make it easier, hopefully to keep track of what is what. I have chosen file names that roughly match the content of the file, but most files have more than just what their name implies. The files are between 75k and 200k so some people may need to keep them in there seperate sections for their particular system. Each message will have one section which will be rouphly 20k-25k long and I will mail each section, one a day, at about 11pm california time, so they should (I guess) arive at roughly the same time. Also be aware that these files were originally meant to be printed and oops printed out, so they refer to "Volumes" rather than file names. Also be aware that they have not even been seen by IED since I converted them, so they may have errors in them that I somehow introduced, for instance the introduction has a cut off line, but I don't think that one was my fault. Anyway, enjoy. I will probably continue to send them until I am finished with Cloudbusting 1.0 and then start sending that. Ron, maybe you could hold off posting any more of The Garden until Bill comes back from vacation. I'm having nightmares of software going haywire and getting ten copies if each portion posted. Also, to be honest, we are going to unsubscribe from Love-Hounds while The Garden is being posted. We waited till now because we weren't sure when it was going to start. It's something we'd like to have, but not at this time, when we can only get our mail once every couple of weeks. The buildup is just too much--makes Happy's lyrics post seem miniscule in comparison (yeah, I know, at least The Garden is Kate-related) It's great that you're doing it Ron, we just can't handle getting the whole thing at this time. We'll still be keeping up with gaffa via Jorn and he'll pass along any pertinent messages. Most of my posts while The Garden is going on will be sent to Ecto.
