We've heard from several sources a rumor that many 3COM OEMs are shifting AWAY from the 3COM LAN software toward a new LAN software package from Novell (sp?) that utilizes the same 3COM Ethernet interface boards. The sources we've talked to seem to indicate that Novell has a "superior LAN management implementation." Does anyone have any experience with Novell software on 3COM Ethernet hardware that they'd be willing to share with us all? Any ideas what the difference might be between the two? Please reply by mail; I'll promise a summary posting. Thank you. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --Dwight Ernest KA2CNN \ Usenet:...vax135!timeinc!dwight Time Inc. Edit./Prod. Tech.
