Hi, I am currently researching an article which discusses OSI implementations on *NIX systems. I am interested in comments and opinions from people who have worked with ISODE relating to the design criteria and implementation decisions adopted in ISODE. I appreciate that a fundamental criteria in ISODE was portability and that issues such as upper layers as STREAMS modules or resident in dedicated controllers are not applicable. With this in mind, do people think that ISODE is implemented in a close to optimal fashion or are there areas where substantial improvements can take place?
