[comp.protocols.iso.dev-environ] VMS port of ISODE

PKay@massey.ac.nz (Peter Kay) (06/27/89)

Hi,
I'm Peter Kay, who managed to port most of ISODE to VMS last year. (v4.0
as far as FTAM, v4.1 nearly got as far as QUIPU) - I'm just about to start
on v5.0 (however I have very little time compared to last year). If you have
any queries, I'll be pleased to answer them as best I can.
BTW Massey Univ is in Palmerston North, New Zealand. You should be able
to get to me by writing to PKay@massey.ac.nz, and thanks Bob for offering to
distribute it.

This is available for anonymous ftp (and fetchfile) from 128.250.90.81
(ditmela.mel.dit.csiro.au). It is the file isode/vmsisode60_tar_z.v1.
If you don't have a unix machine you might find the VMS versions of
compress and tar helpful.

This is for Australian sites and for people overseas who have arranged
with Peter Kay to make this available in their part of the world.

I am wondering whether anybody more conveniently situated has grabbed this
and put it up for anonymous ftp. I'd have done it myself, but I'm no longer
on the Internet.
