To those interested in the applications of the ISODE, I have recently published a paper in the IEEE Network (July, 1990) entitled 'An implementation of an OSI Network Management System'. Although, the implementation is based on the 1988 version of the CMISE/CMIP, the paper gives detail of the mapping between a user command/services and the services provided by CMISE. Also, the mapping between CMIP to ACSE and ROSE are described. The system developed uses the ISODE as the underlaying means of communication.
