I'm having an odd problem with ISODE 6.0 over Sunlink X.25 on a Sparc. Incoming ftam requsts connect but fail when I try to do anything. 501 stork% ftam 000005102000 user (000005102000:lmjm): password (000005102000:lmjm): 000005102000... connected 000005102000> ls F-WAIT.REQUEST: failed Lower layer failure: Overflow in length (Protocol error at presentation) observer 0, source initiator's FPM ftam> open 000005102000 user (000005102000:lmjm): password (000005102000:lmjm): 000005102000... connected 000005102000> get .maildelivery /tmp/.m F-WAIT.REQUEST: failed Lower layer failure: End of file (Protocol error at presentation) observer 0, source initiator's FPM ftam> quit 502 stork% ls -l /tmp/.m -rw-r--r-- 1 lmjm 0 Jan 13 17:30 /tmp/.m Over tcp it works fine. Could anyone suggest what might be wrong please? I run a large UK archive and would like to make it available via ftam. BTW it was doing this before I made added the kerberos changes. Thanks in advance Lee BTW: Where is there a newer copy of isode than 6.0? -- Lee McLoughlin phone: 071 589 5111 X 5037 fax: 071 581 8024 Department of Computing, Imperial College, 180 Queens Gate, London SW7 2BZ, UK Janet: lmjm@uk.ac.ic.doc Uucp: lmjm@icdoc.UUCP (or ..!ukc!icdoc!lmjm) DARPA: lmjm@doc.ic.ac.uk (or lmjm%uk.ac.ic.doc@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk)
